Petty Line does distribution and transmission overhead line work for electrical cooperatives and municipal utilities. The majority of our line work is done in Alabama and Tennessee. Our crews are familiar with RUS framing specifications. We are also available to work storm restoration in the Southeast United States. Safety is a top priority with our company.

Petty Line builds, repairs and provides maintenance work on electrical substations. We primarily perform substation work throughout the state of Alabama, but we are also available to work in Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Storm Restoration
Petty Line crews have worked for many utilities in the Southeast to restore power in the aftermath of hurricanes, tornadoes, and ice storms. When we go to do storm work, we go to work and not sit around. We are there to get the work done safely and efficiently. Many of our trucks are all wheel drive with front winches.
